Digidesign’s Transfuser is a revolutionary new virtual instrument tool for music creation, which meant that a typical product launch wasn’t going to do it justice.
However, it wasn’t until a couple days before the launch that upper management was convinced of a more creative approach.
I was able to work quickly to not just build a microsite, which served as the central component to the product launch, but one that retained the design stylings of the new Transfuser brand as devised by Creative Director Jason Lakis.
The microsite packed enough features for a full website, including a custom Flash audio player, robust video player, customer registration and multiple localization deployments for a coordinated worldwide launch.
Launching the product on the web was a multi-faceted strategy that I coordinated, which, in addition to the microsite, included the website news story, a homepage flash movie, and an email marketing campaign.
